Overnight in London

We decided to spend an overnight in London before we headed home (easier to make our flight which we nearly missed.) Once we found our hotel it was really nice. We spent time at a great open market (V is still talking about the Proper Fish place we ate at, yummy). We wandered around the city and looked at Thames River and visited the Tate Museum. We just aren’t into modern art, but at least we both feel that way. We also visited Southwark Cathedral (I am sure X shouldn’t be behind there.) That night we walked around Covent Garden and ate diner at an out door pizza place. 54 pounds (ok between $80 and $108 depending on how you convert it) for two personal pizza’s, lasagna, milk and a beer. Blah.

I really like Covent Garden. We met some funny guys on the train who gave X their Santa hat. They must have been out for a night on the town. Every time we go to London it is so much fun. There is an energy you can’t describe.
