Christmas Party with School Families

November
There were 12 families and 31 children, countless games and crafts.
A great night was had by all and only a few tears were shed. Thanks Gang.

Gymnastics Open Day

November
It was really great to finally see S in action. She did really well and has greatly increased her balance and flexibility. We love her new coach. Hopefully the day raised enough funds to put a viewing window in the parents room so we can watch the practices. X even enjoyed watching.

ThinkTank in Birmingham

November
Lookout Birmingham, the Americans have found a nearby city we haven't explored!
Rather industrial, but there seems to be a great deal of things to do.
Reminded me of a tunnel from a Bourne Movie

We spent the day at the Thinktank Museum. It was really good.
A fly that they hope to use in search and rescue and
send it other places that current technology can't reach.
The goal is to teach this robot emotions.
Emo is also learning to identify human emotions.
You use a computer to write music and the robot plays it for you.
Tons of old machinery
V says this is a good likeness of me.....when he gets me angry!
Giant Ancient Deer
Kids City: Doctors office (also know as the surgery), Dentist Office,
Ambulance, Cafe, Garage, Phone System that worked, an on and on.

There was a little play. We thought it a bit lame, but the kids liked it.

Old Cars, Planes, etc.
Mechanical stuff
The place was really neat. It had a planetarium,
an Imax theater, and sections on the past, present and future.

Birthday for D from Preschool

November
A fun day at the Bees Knees, a bit crazy as well. Wow was there a lot of kids.
S and V managed to slip off to the bookstore for a mini date.

Swimming and Little Dribblers

November
X started swimming lessons a few weeks ago. He just loves it. He even loves his red swim hat and goggles. He is in a class with 2 other boys. He can swim forward and on his back with a float board. While taking his lessons, we see another group of boys playing football (soccer for you yanks), and so after many requests by X, we tried that today. He loved it. So, now one day is swimming and another is little dribblers.

I will add some pics next week.
